Nipple Inversion and Surgical Correction of Inverted Nipples in Men
Patient noticed his nipples were inverted at about the age of 12. The inversion worsened as his body grew.
20 year old male
6 foot 1 inch tall weighing 210 pounds
Nipple Inversion Classification: Grade 3
Location Surgery: Bermant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center (Office Operating Room)
Anesthesia: Local
Method: Dynamic Technique for Gynecomastia including excision of gland, and fat sculpture.
Gynecomastia gland can tether the nipple to the muscle fascia causing inverted nipples. Surgical sculpture can vary from patient to patient depending on the problem to be treated. That is why Dr. Bermant prefers a Dynamic Technique. In this patient the gland mass removed measured 1.3 cm x 1 cm x 0.3 cm and 1.2 cm x 1 cm x 0.5 cm. Fat sculpture filled the void after excision.
