Nipple Inversion and Surgical Correction of Inverted Nipples in Men
Patient noticed his nipples were inverted at about the age of 12. The inversion worsened as his body grew.
20 year old male
6 foot 1 inch tall weighing 210 pounds
Nipple Inversion Classification: Grade 3
Location Surgery: Bermant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center (Office Operating Room)
Anesthesia: Local
Method: Dynamic Technique for Gynecomastia including excision of gland, and fat sculpture.

Male gland of gynecomastia attaches to the nipple, (the central normally projecting structure surrounded by the pigmented areola). In this patient, the gland also attached to the muscle fascia. Notice how pinching the skin makes the nipple inversion worse. In Grade III nipple inversion, the nipple cannot be everted or pulled out.
