The difference before and after surgery was a tummy tuck and tightening of the stomach wall muscles only. No liposuction was needed in this case of excess skin after weight loss. The scars are still evolving to their final pale color. The purple marks to the left are surgical plans for the actual incision. All skin between the purple line to above the belly button were removed as part of this surgery. Notice how the the lower tissue raises while pulling down on the upper tissue.
