Breast ptosis correction (mastopexy)
with no breast implants.
Mastopexy can be a natural skin only operation. Here are the before pictures
with the results 2 months after surgery. This was a Regnault "type
B" short scar operation.

Surgical markings before surgery show the planned skin resection. Notice
the asymmetry of the breasts before surgery. The markings are drawn with
you upright. |
 |
The surgery permitted restoration of symmetry. After removing
the skin, the deeper breast tissue is internally supported. The areola
and nipples move up to the top of the circles restoring them to a more
youthful appearance. |
 |
Here during surgery Dr. Bermant is adjusting the skin removal. The triangles
of extra tissue were removed after sitting the patient up during
surgery. Upright, the breast can be marked for a more natural drape.
After removing these triangles, the final breast sculpture was done.

See how the drooping skin was the problem. Restoration of nipple
areola height and tightening the skin envelope can make a great
difference in appearance. No breast implant was added. Solving this
three dimensional puzzle requires surgical sculpting.
The results are 2 months after surgery. Scars generally improve over
the first 6 months after surgery.
