Breast Reduction Mammaplasty
If you're considering breast reduction...
Large breasts come in ALL different sizes. Each
woman's image of what is HER best size is unique and does not necessarily
match what she currently has. The ability to tolerate the extra
weight varies and gets more difficult as we age. Exercise and activity
must deal with the breast mass momentum. Heavy support bras only
go so far with support. What is reasonable to have on one's chest
does not always match the "criteria" of insurance companies
for covered benefits.
Few would want to tolerate breasts of this size seen in these photos. Finding clothing
is one of the least of her problems. Neck, back and shoulder pain
are not uncommon with such massive breasts.
Breasts are more buoyant than water. Getting into a pool with water up to your neck can simulate some of the relief of Breast Reduction Surgery and less heavy breasts. The typical patient who has undergone Reduction Mammaplasty, expresses much relief from the symptoms from excessive breast weight. Activities can be more comfortable. Clothing can be easier to select.
