Any liposuction can cause bruising. Bruising was minimized by using
the wet technique. This bruising seen
here is typical what Dr. Bermant has seen when using a tumescent method.
In breast reduction surgery, superwet or tumescent techniques can result
in too much distortion of sculpted tissues. It is a balancing act between
distortion and tissue sculpture. Explore images
early after surgery to see just how limited the swelling and bruising
were for this patient.

Young breast tissue can be very dense with little fat either in the gland
nor under the skin. This case had extremely dense breast tissue that made
the surgery more of a challenge. The tissues demanded a delicate precision
of sculpting of the dense gland under the thin skin and fat layers.
