Big scapha fossa resulting in large ear deformity and otoplasty ear reduction plastic surgery pictures in a female patient
This female patient did not like her big ears, mainly the size of the scapha. When asked what she did not like, she pinched the top of her ears and said "I want my ears smaller, please reduce the upper part like this." She wanted about a 6 mm reduction in the length of her ears. The patient said she was tired of covering her big ears with her hair.
She had been to other doctors for this problem, but had been told that there was no solution. After spending time exploring Macrotia Big Ear Reduction Surgery here, she requested and started with our preliminary remote discussion.

From the front, the ears are big before surgery. The scapha reduction resulted in a better ear size for this patient. The upper ear projection is better after otoplasty.

The head tilted back view shows that the plane of the ears are a little flatter after this otoplasty. The scapha tended to stick out too far before otoplasty.
