Pictures bilateral otoplasty ear surgery in male patient
Otoplasty Sculpture: Both ears conchal bowl setback, and balance folding upper antihelix with Mustarde suture.
23 year old male did not like how his ears were sticking out too far. He styled his hair to cover his ears.
Location Surgery: Bermant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center (Office Operating Room)
Anesthesia: Local with sedation
These post-op pictures are very early after surgery demonstrate the minimal bruising and swelling after Dr. Bermant's ear sculpture.
The concha bowl projection was a major factor in what made this male's ear stick out. In addition the antihelix fold was less developed at the top. Before surgery this male covered his protruding ears with his hair. With surgery he cut his hair much shorter.

The head tilted up pictures show the blending of the different elements of this problem and result of Dr. Bermant's otoplasty ear surgery. By combining the conchal bowl set back and folding the upper antihelix, the ears have a natural shape after surgery.

At only 6 days after surgery, these pictures show what swelling and bruising typically looks like for Dr. Bermant otoplasty ear surgery. Even with the change in hair, the difference in the concha bowl pin back projection is visible with the back and upper ear closer to the head.
