Gynecomastia Gyno Surgery and Fat Flap Sculpting
This patient was unhappy with the one sided breast growth that started after the use of a drug. When he stopped, the breast stopped growing but did not shrink in size. When he started again, the breast grew further. One year after stopping there has been no further growth. Location Surgery: Bermant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center (Office Operating Room)
Anesthesia: Tumescent Local with Sedation Right Breast Only
Method Right Breast: Dynamic technique, excision mass, liposuction contouring, and fat flap sculpture
Method Left Breast: No surgery performed
Unilateral gynecomastia sculpture of the male breast can be easier or much more complex than treating patients on both sides. Making a reduction on one side match an unoperated area can be more difficult than reducing 2 areas to different degrees. Operating on a normal side just does not make sense. Each problem should be individualized and the best way to help any one patient explore options is during a consultation after an evaluation.
