There was not much extra tissue as seen on the frontal pictures before surgery. It does not take much breast before they show through a tee-shirt and can be embarrassing.

Putting the hands on your hips or tightening the pectoral muscles pushes the extra male breast tissue to the surface increasing its prominence.

Raising the arms can show an asymmetry or uneven nature of the breasts. Everyone has some uneven aspects before and after surgery. It can take 6 months for the scars to soften to see if any dynamic asymmetry is present. This lower photograph can be misleading since the shoulders are not even.
