Unbalanced Asymmetrical Gynecomastia Surgery and Fat Flap Sculpting
Variation in an unequal chest can vary from a subtle difference to Unilateral where the problem is present only on one side. This patient was unhappy with his massive left breast. He thought his problem was unilateral until a careful examination demonstrated a much smaller problem on the right. He felt uncomfortable exposing his chest, going to the beach and swimming. The uneven sides were so great that neither thicker nor extra layers of clothing helped much. Exercising and weight lifting did not help, building muscles just made the mass stick out more. He is another of the many patients who decided to travel to Virginia from New York for Dr. Bermant's chest sculpture.

6 foot 2 inches tall weighing 185 pounds
Location Surgery: Bermant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center (Office Operating Room)
Anesthesia: Tumescent Local with Sedation

The paper tape Steri-Strips are small bandages that protect the repair and reinforce the dissolvable sutures below. Incision size varied since the gland on the left was so much larger than that on the right. Dr. Bermant minimizes his incision for the individual problem.
