Nasal Deformity can be corrected with a rhinoplasty. This is a group of operations that approach the different components of the problem. Nasal hump surgery is one aspect of rhinoplasty. In this case I did computer "surgery" removing the dorsal hump. I use the computer to help during my patient consultations show my patients what rhinoplasty can REALISTICALLY offer. Not all noses need look the same. I recommend removing the detracting elements leaving the positive qualities.

The
dorsal nasal hump is a fancy way of calling the bump on the top of the
nose. This deformity interrupts the even flow between the forehead and
the tip of the nose. Bone and cartilage usually make up this problem
but thickened scar can also be the cause. While the hump can be from
nasal trauma or fracture, it also can be the natural shape of your nose.
These deformities can also be accompanied by mechanical obstruction
of the nose.
