The loss also can mean a loss of support for the tip of the nose and drooping of the tip. The dorsal hump can also be from other causes. Nasal trauma and family traits are other more common causes for a dorsal hump.Both a nasal hump and a drooping tip can be addressed with rhinoplasty surgery.

Nasal hump surgery is one aspect of rhinoplasty. However fitting this man with some dentures would probably have the greatest improvement. Severe erosion of the supporting bones of the face may require grafting or building up the area with other material.Return to Rubens Nasal Deformity
